Water Filtration - Solid particulate filtersTo process the water through what are known as string filters. These types of filters remove solid particulate from the water. Solid contaminants such as grit, organic matter etc will always be encountered and can be seen with the naked eye. Contaminants in dilution can also be removed with this method and usually cannot be seen with the naked eye. A string filter is a media filter made up of a woven string system which catches particles down to 25 micron. This 25 micron filter is in accordance to drinking water standards and is fully servicable with a replacement filter media as and when needed (this will depend on your water quality)
