The Brumby pump range and controler
Brumby manufacture 3 types of pumps plus a timer controller which is necessary in some situations.
As with all pumps, there is a maximum lift which any given pump can do.
You don’t need to concern yourself with the science as it can be complex -
We will calculate the Brumby Pump you need
With some basic information from you, your bore or well depth, the depth of typical standing water and the amount of lift that will be required, i.e., how high the water must be lifted before it exits the delivery pipe.
South Coast Water is proud to be the European distributors for the Brumby Pump and more details can be found on our sister site www.brumbypumps.co.uk
As with all items within this Brumby Pump section, we can advise you of the most suitable Brumby Pump for your needs. Please contact us to discuss, or call our FREE phone number above.

The S1 Brumby pump
Is designed to fit into a standard 100mm (4 inch) or larger well/bore casings.
The pump requires a submersion to lift ratio of over 1/3.
That means if you have a well/bore that's 90ft deep, you need at least 30ft of water in the bottom to flow to the top. |
 |
The S2 Brumby Pump
Has 2 valves and can be used with or without controller in low flow situations - up to 150 galons, 680 litres per hour.
Designed to go into 100mm (4 inch) or larger well/bore casings, where low flow is ok and substantial savings on delivery cost can be made due to the pump's smaller size than the L2. |
 |
The L2 Brumby Pump
Is 2.2 Meters (7 1/2ft) long and designed to operate in shallow water, high lift situations, usually with a controller.
It will deliver more than the S2 with a controller, and in deep submersion - low lift situation will delver substancially more. Designed to fit into 100mm (4 inch) or larger casings. |

Brumby Pump Controller
Controllers for shallow submision and high lift are curretly being redesigned and will be available soon.
Two new and improved versions are coming shortly
NOTE: Controllers are ONLY required where water is shallow and lift is high, as explained above.
A controller can easily be added later if required. |
